Volunteering Duties Description

BOARD  
President President of the organization.
Vice President Vice President of the organization.
Secretary Secretary of the organization.
Treasurer Treasurer of the organization.
Athletic Director Athletic Director of the organization.
Cheer Director Cheer Director of the organization.
   
GENERAL  
Banquet Coordinator The Banquet Coordinator is responsible for securing a site, and planning the food and activities for the end-of-the-year banquet.  Suggestions/ideas should be presented at least 2 months prior to the end of the season at a regular board meeting for board approval. Also, Banquet Coordinator is responsible for trophies, finding a vendor, getting samples, approval of samples and vendor  from Board and checking in people at the Banquet.
Cheer Coach  
Concession Coordinator The Concession Coordinator is responsible for obtaining bids on various food and drink items to be sold at all Hornet hosted events and presenting it to the  Board. After food choices and vendors are selected, this coordinator is responsible for purchasing or making arrangements to have items available on event day. They will work with volunteers to set-up and take-down of the concession stand(must make sure facility is clean upon leaving, its general supervision during operating hours, and final year-end inventory and storage. The provisions of all receipts for expenditures are due to the Treasurer.
Concession Shopper The concession shopper works directly with the Concession Coordinator and is responsible for doing the shopping trips to Sam's or Costco, for all home games. 
Equipment/Shed Coordinator The duties of the Equipment Coordinator shall be to coordinate the needs of the program and to issue, recall, and care for all equipment. It is responsible for all equipment going into and out of the Shed on a daily basis.This coordinator is responsible for supervising equipment hand-out/turn-in, as well as keeping accurate records of items disbursed. They shall present the Athletic/Cheer Directors, as well as the Board, an audit/inventory at the end of the season in order to make determinations for the upcoming year.
Football Coach  
AM Gameday Booth Coordinator Manages the volunteer check-in & all positions of the booth for the AM games. Works in conjuction with the PM Gameday Booth Coordinator and the Volunteer Coordinator to assure all positions are filled on game day and scheduled events run efficiently.
PM Gameday Booth Coordinator Manages the volunteer check-in & all positions of the booth for the PM games. Works in conjuction with the AM Gameday Booth Coordinator and the Volunteer Coordinator to assure all positions are filled on game day and scheduled events run efficiently.
Homecoming Coordinator The Homecoming Coordinator is responsible for securing a location for Homecoming Party with the boards approval and checking people in at the homecoming party.  The Board is responsible for providing dates to the Coordinator as early as possible. Responsibe getting volunteers to decorate the field for Homecoming games.
Newsletter Coordinator  
Table Worker-
PRE-SEASON: Equipment Handout
POST-SEASON: Equipment Return
Is available to work at the table and process paperwork for the entire time frame for Equipment Handout at the beginning of the season & Equipment turn-in at the end of the season.
Equipment Worker-
PRE-SEASON: Equipment Handout
POST-SEASON: Equipment Return
Is available to work at an equipment station to fit players for their equipment and is available for the entire time frame for Equipment Handout at the beginning of the season & Equipment turn-in at the end of the season.
Scholarship Coordinator  
Special Events Coordinator The Special Events Coordinator is responsible for any parades or special events. They must coordinate banners, floats, and items needed to properly represent the Hornet organization.
Team Parent Cheer One team parent must attend all practices to assist coaches with spotting or being there to help assist in any way.  Also collecting of all payments, or necessary papers from there team.  One team parent must attend all Games to assist coaches with any difficulties. (JV & Varsity only need one parent.)

*Work with coaches to see if they need assistance with emails or correspondence with team.

*Coordinate parents list for bubba Cookies (Over Sized Cookies awarded to Team after a win).

*Contact Volunteer Coordinator before All home games (typically 4) to ensure all volunteer positions have been filled for you teams game slot.  Any Position not filled send an email to parents to see if anyone can fill those slots.

*Coordinate a list of Chain Gang (3)volunteers from your team (you will have to make a sign up for chain gang and make sure they are covered for the day of the home games).

*Coordinate something special for your team the day of homecoming (in the past parents have done such things as, making shakers, or signs for all players. Our goal is to make sure that every kid feels special on homecoming and no team is left out).

*Make sure to arrange for the water Jug to be filled and at field every game Home and Away. (you can create a sign up with your teams parents for this or choose to do it yourself).

*Coordinate half time snack such as orange slices for team.*Email Newsletter coordinator results of game by Monday morning, kylecuiching@gmail.com.

Volunteer Coordinator

The Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for compiling master list of volunteer duties by June 1st to present to board for review and approval.

*Track open coordinator positons and display on website per board approval.

*Track open positions and post on website prior to each home game and sending board draft email to blast to organization.

* Create volunteer sign in sheets for each home game and collect at end of last game.*Track family hours in master volunteer sheet.
